New This Semester! UMASS Dartmouth will have a presence on the Fall River Campus in the evening! Matthew Cziska, the Enrollment Specialist for the Online and Continuing Education Department at UMASS Dartmouth will be visiting Bristol Community College on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 3:30 pm to 7 pm. Located in the C Building Lobby (Siegal Health Technologies Building), Matthew will provide information on UMD's Academic Programs, Student Resources, Technical Resources, Transfer Credits, Scholarships and Financial Aid. Students do not need an appointment. Please stop by and speak with Matthew if you are interested in attending UMD! Other Dates UMD will be on campus in the evening: November 15 and December 13.

Attleboro Career Center Visit (11/19/2018)

A BCC Admissions representative will meet with career center clients to provide information regarding BCC’s programs and services as well as facilitate the admissions process. Students may be referred to the Admissions Counselor responsible for coordinating college enrollment with dislocated worker benefits (i.e. Section 30, Federal Trade programs, etc.) For information regarding benefit program eligibility or to schedule an appointment with a BCC Admissions Counselor, please contact the Attleboro Career Center.

Transfer Walk-In at the New Bedford Campus (11/19/2018)

Visit Bristol Community College’s beautiful Fall River Campus. We have state-of-the-art classrooms, computer labs, a fitness center, television station, theater, art gallery, and a scenic on-campus pond. Come learn about all of our academic programs and student support services. Check out all the opportunities you can find here! The tour will begin with an Admissions Information Session followed by an hour and twenty minute walking tour of the Campus. Faculty and Staff Advisor Transfer Training (New Bedford) (11/19/2018)

This program will feature Bristol’s own Transfer Services Staff. We will present an overview of the MassTransfer program—a collaboration among the Commonwealth’s community colleges, state universities, and the University of Massachusetts. Attendees will learn about the new statewide General Education Foundation, A2B Degree Pathways, the Commonwealth Commitment Program, and the new MassTransfer Course Equivalency Database. We will provide you with the tools you need to be an effective advisor when working with students who wish to transfer to a state university or the University of Massachusetts.
