Please join the Bristol Community College Holocaust Center for informative and thought-provoking programming throughout the spring semester. Events are FREE and open to the public.

The Bristol Community College Holocaust Center sponsors speakers, workshops, conferences and has a small library of Holocaust and genocide material for use by the college community and general public. The center also provides historical information, educational experiences, and multimedia resources to communicate the suffering, pain and death of innocent millions who were impacted by the Holocaust and other genocides.

Workshop on Elie Wiesel’s Night: “Trauma, Remembrance and Hope”

Conference for Middle School, High School and College instructors. Workshop Leader: Mr. Tom White, Coordinator of Educational Outreach at Cohen Holocaust Center, Keene State College, N.H.  Jackson Art Center, Rm 209.

Terezin Music Foundation Featuring the Hawthorne String Quartet

Monday, November 5, from 6:30 - 9 p.m. 
Jackson Arts Center Auditorium and Art Gallery, Bristol Fall River campus, 777 Elsbree Street. 
The Terezin Music Foundation features the Hawthorne String Quartet playing music of composers interned at the Terezin Concentration Camp and is narrated by the Terezin Foundation’s Executive Director, Dr. Mark Ludwig. This event is fundraiser for the Bristol Community College Holocaust Center.        

Presentation by Dr. Henry H. Oster, Holocaust Survivor and Author

Thursday November 8, at 12:30 p.m.
Room 209, Jackson Art Center, Bristol Fall River campus, 777 Elsbree Street.
Dr. Henry H. Oster Holocaust survivor and author of The Kindness of the Hangman will provide a engaging presentation. The event will be followed by a book signing
