Social Distancing Guidelines
Limiting close face-to-face contact reduces the spread of COVID-19. Social distancing is another important practice that helps mitigate the transmission of the virus and is recommended by state and federal health officials. Learn more HERE.
Indoor gatherings in areas around the college locations are limited to eight (8) persons and never more than 25 persons in a single enclosed, indoor space, all while adhering to mandated social distancing protocols. This includes, but is not limited to, business areas, lounges, food areas, lobbies, hallways, etc.
- Students, Faculty, and Staff are required to maintain a physical distance of six (6) feet when feasible.
- While on campus, and in certain circumstances, social distancing guidelines may be adjusted so that students can complete specific academic tasks under the direction of faculty. In these cases, students will be advised of the proper guidelines and provided with relevant equipment as needed.
- We should always remind students about the importance of social distancing. Any student, faculty, or staff member who sees more than eight (8) students gathering in any one space has the right to remind the group that only eight (8) students can be in a common space at one time, following social distancing guidelines, and ask the group to please disperse or have some members leave so that they can abide by the guidelines.
- In addition, all individuals in small gatherings must be wearing a mask/face covering.
