Bristol’s Transfer Services provides you with the transfer counseling needed to continue your education at four-year colleges and universities. Resources and services include updated transfer and scholarship information, assistance with applications, and transcript reviews and consultations. Special transfer programs are offered to assist you in achieving your educational goals.

In addition to individual transfer counseling appointments, you can attend transfer workshops designed to address the steps in the transfer process. You also have the opportunity to meet representatives from four-year institutions at a variety of programs and events offered throughout the academic year.

The Transfer Office is pleased to announce Express Transfer Services via email. This is an excellent opportunity to get your transfer questions answered without having to wait for an appointment or come to campus. Just email a Transfer Counselor at: transfer@bristolcc.edu.

Bay State College

With our current Articulation Agreement within the IT, Management, and Criminal Justice programs, Bristol Community College Associate Degree graduates will have the opportunity to complete their Bachelor’s Degree at Bay State College. This agreement is designed to facilitate a smooth transition from one college to the other without the need to duplicate any course work. Bay State College offers two convenient campus locations in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay and Taunton, MA. With flexible schedules, students can choose to take courses during the Day, Evening, On-campus or Online.

Lesley University

Lesley University, a small private university in Cambridge, MA, also offers college classes in downtown New Bedford at the Demello International Center. Students can pursue the highly flexible Liberal Studies degree, which allows them to individually-design their own area of study, or choose from degrees in psychology, human services, or business management. Lesley started offering classes in January 2019 and has already celebrated its first 8 graduates from this pathway! It is built with busy, working students in mind, so it is achievable, convenient, and highly student-centered. The Lesley in New Bedford degree is also steeply discounted, making it competitive with state institutions. We accept students every 8 weeks, so it is never too late to apply.

Wentworth Institute of Technology

Transfer Tuesdays give prospective transfer students the opportunity to sign up for a 30-minute Zoom appointment with Andrew deMelo and representatives from the Registrar’s office and Financial Aid.  It’s basically a one-stop shop to get as many of your questions answered as possible, and they are open to anyone in whatever part of the application process:  prospective students, applicants, accepted students, and even deposited students!  These start on Tuesday, October 6, and appointments will run every half hour between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., with our final appointment being available at 4:30 p.m. Student’s interested in signing up can visit www.wit.edu/transfer-tuesday for more info!

Worcester State University

The Worcester State University Admissions Transfer Center will host a variety of virtual transfer advising opportunities throughout the Spring 2021 semester. In addition, the Undergraduate Admissions Office will host on-campus and virtual tours.

Our priority transfer application deadline for Fall 2021 is March 1, 2021, and our regular transfer application deadline is May 1, 2021.

Regular transfer and MassTransfer applicants can apply online at worcester.edu/apply. The application is free until March 1, 2021. MassTransfer applicants should follow the transfer admission deadlines set by Worcester State University, including any deadline extensions that occur.

Finally, the Admissions Transfer Center is staffed Mondays through Fridays from 8:15 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., except for holidays that fall on a weekday.
