The Payroll department issues stop payments, reconciles payroll data, files and reports payroll taxes and employee insurance, and maintains accurate accounting records. The department tracks wages paid deductions, and all employer-paid payroll expenses, as well as processing annual W-2’s.
The payroll department addresses internal payroll inquiries from managers, supervisors and employees and addresses related external concerns, such as from state or government agencies.
