Summer Courses at Bristol

‌What are you doing this summer? Get ahead or catch up on your degree at Bristol Community College. Credits can be applied to a Bristol degree or certificate program or transferred to another college or university.

Registering for Classes: Bristol Students

Current Bristol students may register for summer classes via accessBCC. Need help choosing courses? Be sure to see your advisor for assistance. They can help you make the best selection of courses.

Registering for Classes: Guest Students

If you want to register for a course at Bristol but are not interested in earning a degree or certificate from the college, you can register for classes without having to apply to the college. This is often the case for students who attend another college or university and intend to transfer their Bristol credits back to their home institution.

Financial Aid

Bristol students: if you are eligible for the Federal Financial Aid, you may be able to receive Summer funds. You can view your financial aid in your accessBCC account under Financial Aid > My Award Information > Award By Aid Year > Award Overview.

All awards are at full-time status and will be adjusted to the registered credits once registration is complete. Before you register, you can call or email the Financial Aid Office to inquire about how the award amount may change if you register for less than full-time status.

Please note, guest students are not eligible for financial aid. 

Payment

You will receive an electronic tuition and fees bill, which will be sent to your Bristol email address and can also be viewed on accessBCC. This bill informs you when your account must be paid. If it is not paid by the date listed on the bill, you will be dropped for non-payment. For Summer 2021 courses, payment will be due May 6, 2021.

Hybrid Students Summer 2021

Summer hybrid students will need to conduct a daily checklist of symptoms and any possible exposures related to COVID-19 and participate in required COVID-19 testing. Per state and federal guidelines, students, faculty, and staff must follow steps to protect themselves and others at all times including proper use of face masks, social distancing, and hand hygiene. The college is also encouraging all students to get the vaccine prior to attendance.
