There are times that every student could use a helping hand with studying, writing, or starting and finishing a project.
The Tutoring and Academic Support Center trains other students who are familiar with your classes to help you improve your skills in the classroom as you go. They can help you understand your professors and what they mean by the things they are saying.
Tutors offer one-on-one sessions that can help you get through a project, writing assignment, homework problem or any other issue with a particular class you’re taking.
Group sessions are also available so that groups of students can learn from one another as well as their tutors by getting different points of view on the material they are learning.
Come to the TASC center and schedule an appointment to get some help.
The Tutor Club is a great way to meet other tutors. Tutors share information, techniques, and ideas about tutoring, and are involved in outside activities. The Tutor Club is about building relationships as well as friendships!
Meetings and club information are posted regularly on the bulletin boards and information is always available at the Tutoring and Academic Support Center (TASC).
