COVID-19 information and how to get ready for Summer and Fall 2021
What is the Student Lounge?
The intent of the Student Lounge is to create a virtual space where you and other students can stop by and interact with various departments, activities, and resources using one Zoom link. Within the space, there will be a host who will greet students and explain the breakout rooms that are going on that day. From there, you can pick what breakout rooms you would like to visit for the day, just like if you were walking around our campus!
What are the Student Lounge hours?
- Monday - Thursday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 - 7 p.m.
Where can I get access to the Student Lounge link?
Students can access the link directly through the Student Lounge button in the Bristol app, by visiting the Student Lounge event calendar below or by emailing Melissa.Rogers@bristolcc.edu.
Why would I come by the lounge? What services do you provide?
The Student Lounge is here to offer support, connections, and services to our students - all in one centralized place! We have many different departments, both from Academic Affairs and Student Services, hosting breakout rooms within the Student Lounge space. Offices currently holding breakout rooms in the lounge this semester include Library Services, Tutoring, several centers on campus, Transfer Services, Office of Disability Services, Online Support and so much more.
In addition to the recurring breakout rooms, the lounge also offers workshops, events, and activities to provide important skills and peer networking opportunities. Make sure to check the event calendar for more information.
Looking to create your own room in the Student Lounge? Fill out this form and a staff member will contact you about making your study room, activity, or gathering a reality.
Where can I find the Student Lounge Schedule?
The schedule will be posted weekly right here on this page, in the Student Affairs newsletter and Bristol App and on the Multicultural Student Center social media accounts.
