We are extending our special “thank you" program, which began in July, for all students and employees who become fully vaccinated and upload their COVID-19 vaccination cards to the Bristol APP by the new deadline of November 28, 2021

We are extending our special “thank you" program, which began in July, and increasing the incentive to $200 for all students who become fully vaccinated and upload their COVID-19 vaccination cards to the Bristol APP by the new deadline of November 28, 2021

Bristol Student VaxUp Program – (read carefully)

  • Students who uploaded their vaccination cards through the Bristol App as of October 12 will receive $200 by October 29, 2021.
  • Students who upload their vaccination cards through the Bristol App after October 13 will receive $200 4-6 weeks after November 28, 2021. 
  • Students who have already uploaded their vaccination cards and have received $100 will receive an additional $100 automatically by October 29, 2021. 
  • Students who have already uploaded their vaccination cards do not need to re-upload
  • The vaccination card must have both vaccinations for Moderna and Pfizer or one Johnson & Johnson vaccination. 
  • COVID-19 vaccination cards can be securely uploaded via the Bristol App feature. (See video lower on this page
  • Download the Bristol App from the App Store or Google Play. Within the App, go to Vaccination Form and upload a photo of your COVID-19 vaccination card. 
  • Qualifying students are those who were registered at the college between March 2020 to current, including those registering for the upcoming spring 2022 semester. Registration for Spring 2022 opens on November 17, 2021.  

If you are a: 

  • Student taking classes for college credit, you will receive $200 in your Bank Mobile Account.  
    • If you don’t have a Bank Mobile Account set up yet, we will send an email to explain the steps to set up your account. 
    • We now have a new and improved method for our credit students to make their refund selection with BankMobile (BM). Students can now log into their accessBCC account, under the student quick links, select "Refund Selection" which takes them to the BM website.
  • Non-credit student (GED, HiSET, ESOL) you will receive a $200 check to your address of record
  • Student who was enrolled after March 2020 but is no longer a student, will receive a $200 check to your address of record

What You Need to Know About the Bristol Employee VaxUp Program:

  • Employees who have uploaded their vaccination cards do not need to re-upload. They will receive the $45 by mid November. (Please note, some payments have already been received.)
  • New uploads after October 13 will receive the $45 4-6 weeks after the November 28, 2021 deadline.   
  • The $45 will be included in your paycheck. Taxes will be based on your individual tax withholding rate. Bristol will not be issuing employee checks from Accounts Payable for this program. 
  • Please note, the employee incentive for uploading your vaccination card will be listed under “other pay” on the Commonwealth's Financial Transparency Platform. 
  • The card must include both vaccinations for Moderna and Pfizer or one Johnson & Johnson vaccination.
  • COVID-19 vaccination forms can be securely uploaded using the new Bristol App feature. (See video lower on this page
  • Download the Bristol App from the App Store or Google Play. Within the App, go to “Vaccination Form” and upload a photo of your COVID-19 vaccination card. 
  • If you are not able to upload through the Bristol App please email vaxupload@bristolcc.edu for directions.  
  • It’s as simple as that!

  • Am I eligible for any other vaccination incentives being given out by the college i.e. the student thank you? No, college (state) employees are only eligible for the $45 incentive. This includes employees who are also students. They are not eligible for the student thank you program.

Employee and student COVID-19 vaccination information is protected private information under FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). Please note, by uploading your vaccination card, only limited Bristol Employees will have access to this information as outlined in our FERPA policy. Vaccination status is not included in directory information and will not be shared in any public records request.
